A Princess

Gosh, I am at my I-have-10,000-things-to-write-about mood. So many things, so little time. So maybe I will spend the whole day writing and die when I am supposed to do my presenations next week.

A newly found good friend of mine,S, remarked sometime early this week that I am spoilt. Tell me, which full time, nothing to do student drives to school? And knowing me, you are right to guess that I made a face at him. Later when we were crossing the road he asked if I stayed in a hostel during my undergraduate years, there wasn't need to, I drove to school. Well, so maybe I am really spoilt. Now let us all see where on the spoilt child scale do I tip.

I drive to school. It is the only mode of transportation that I know how to get to the forsaken campus in the far ,ungodly, west side of the country.

I only eat chicken thighs and drumsticks when I order chicken rice, which reminded me that I haven't exactly ordered my own plate of chicken rice in years.

I only get my groceries or raw ingredients from the supermarkets because I stammer when I go to the wet markets, I stammer when I speak in mandarin to people I am not familar with.

I slept during chinese class, even though I was the only student, and insisted to my tutor that I was reading the passage.

I kick a big fuss and show my displeasures when my mum and sisters turned up late for our dinner appointments.

I no longer do my own laundry, or keep the home spick and span for that matter.

I have got someone to carry my laptop for me. This doesn't count cos my laptop is huge-est thing that you would ever see in this era.

I don't wash my own car. I prefer to pay people to wash.

I don't cook either, I pay my sis to cook instant noodles for me.

I don't book my own tour tickets, I merely convey my interesting in to travel and someone will scour through all the packages in the country to find and book the best for me.

Hmmm, technically speaking, I am not that spoilt. I have seen worse. I am a good person.

Are you a good person too?
